What is AR Callers

In medical billing, AR stands for Accounts Receivable. Accounts receivable are the claims that are unpaid by insurance companies or patients. An A/R caller is a person who calls insurance companies about unpaid claims and tries to resolve the reason behind the claim is unpaid.

Roles and Responsibilities

• AR Callers will be responsible for managing the financial, strategic, human capital and quality initiatives for a defined group/team while ensuring all business standards or service levels are met.
• AR Callers will be responsible for posting medical charges, payments, and journal entries to patient accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
• AR Callers will also process insurance claim denials, file appeals, and contact insurance companies and work in a close team environment to meet daily, monthly and quarterly billing metrics.
• In addition, AR Callers will also be responsible to answer patient account balance questions, verify correct insurance filing information on behalf of the clients and patient, verify receipt of all patient registration data from client, and notifying clients of potential coding problems.

Eligibility

• Should have excellent communication skill in English
• Should be a graduate
